Agnostic Front interview by Sold Out

Sold Out: “Why all the member changes?” Stigma: “Why not?”
1987 saw a revamped Agnostic Front lineup consisting of sole remaining members Roger and Vinnie and new recruits guitarist Steve Martin, drummer Will Shepler and bassist Alan Peters release “Liberty & Justice For….” (Combat), which infused the technical prowess of “Cause For Alarm” with the raw, untempered fury of “Victim In Pain”. Bassist Peters left the band shortly after the recording of L&JF and was replaced by Craig Setari. This AF interview was originally published in Sold Out fanzine, summer 1988. Live at Buff Hall

“I’d appreciate it if you didn’t jump on my head…”

06
The Buff Hall gig is a real gem. It was one of the earliest gatherings of the East Coast “tribes”: Minor Threat (DC), SS Decontrol (Boston), Agnostic Front (NYC), Flag of Democracy + Crib Death (Philly) were all on the bill. Crazy show with Ian MacKaye getting hit by a car, SS Decontrol’s van getting smashed – and, of course, security for the show being provided by the Ghetto Riders.

Blind Approach interview by Open Your Eyes

The band started with Matt Henderson (Agnostic Front, Madball) and his friend Chip in St. Paul, MN. They released two great 7 inches (“Restless Nights” and “New Age”) and it’s easy to see why Agnostic Front picked him up. Blind Approach played a lot of shows, and eventually they became the Minneapolis hardcore band at one point so if they were not headlining a show they were opening for every band that came through. In 1987/88 Blind Approach played a few times with the Cro-Mags, Youth Of Today, and did a Midwest stretch with WarZone.

This Blind Approach interview is originally published in Open Your Eyes fanzine, and I hope you will find it an enjoyable read! Please click images to view full size.

DYKHC – 01 CONTRA
A conversation with Adam Kiss about the upcoming Contra record “Collective Unconscious”, political propaganda, modern people who use scales to rank themselves, and hardcore related stuff. Dedicated to the core and the colossal man (he got radiation and grew real big)! https://contrahardcore.bandcamp.com (Pics by Radi, Gergely Ofner)
